Project overview

Hydrogen backup power scaled across a regional telecom network.

In 2022, CO-WIN worked with China Telecom Jiangmen Branch to select 12 service aggregation equipment rooms across the districts and counties of Jiangmen for a pilot deployment.

Each site’s backup system was upgraded to use a methanol-water hydrogen fuel cell generator. The installations have operated stably since June 2022, demonstrating repeatable deployment across a distributed telecom network.
