A coordinated regional rollout tests repeatability across multiple districts and site conditions.
Telecom Base Stations & Equipment Rooms Backup Power
A multi-site retrofit program replacing conventional backup systems with methanol-water hydrogen fuel cell generators.
Project overview
In 2022, CO-WIN worked with China Telecom Jiangmen Branch to select 12 service aggregation equipment rooms across the districts and counties of Jiangmen for a pilot deployment.
Each site’s backup system was upgraded to use a methanol-water hydrogen fuel cell generator. The installations have operated stably since June 2022, demonstrating repeatable deployment across a distributed telecom network.
