Project overview

On-site hydrogen production and refueling for a growing logistics fleet.

Guangzhou Development District Transportation Investment Group Hydrogen Energy Company has been promoting hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration operation and logistics fleet deployment. With planned and invested hydrogen vehicles reaching approximately 300 units, local hydrogen supply demand continues to increase.

The Dongpeng Avenue project is designed as a self-use integrated methanol-to-hydrogen refueling station at the intersection of Dongpeng Avenue and Lianyun Road in Guangzhou Huangpu District. The site area is approximately 2,400 square meters and the station equipment is provided by Guangdong CO-WIN Technology Co., LTD.

  • Daily hydrogen refueling capacity of 1,000 kg per 24 hours.
  • Hydrogen compressor discharge capacity of 500 Nm3/h.
  • Two hydrogen dispensers with dual-gun, dual-metering configuration.
  • Designed to refuel four vehicles simultaneously.
  • Based on 16 hours of daily operation, expected to serve 50-80 vehicles per day.

By combining on-site methanol reforming hydrogen production with vehicle refueling infrastructure, the station reduces dependence on external hydrogen supply and supports more predictable hydrogen logistics vehicle operation.

01

Integrated supply

Methanol-to-hydrogen production and refueling are combined in one station to support local vehicle operation.

02

Fleet-oriented capacity

The station is sized for daily operation of hydrogen logistics vehicles, including simultaneous four-vehicle refueling.

03

Urban logistics support

The project helps address hydrogen availability and cost pressure for city logistics, cold-chain transport and similar scenarios.
